Fin created a wide variety of visual effects on 183 shots for George Miller’s fantasy epic “Three Thousand Years of Longing”.
The VFX team led by supervisor Roy Malhi faced interesting challenges in bringing George’s vision to screen, particularly around creating the feathered legs of Idris Elba’s Djinn character, the vast range of different mythical creatures and the mind-bending lovemaking galaxy sequence.
Other VFX work included full CGI shots with landscapes and creatures, set extensions, delicate character animation, magical disintegrations of genies, and complicated mathematical dreams.
Over 50 VFX artists worked more than 2 yrs from script, through onset, and to final finishing.
We hope you enjoy the work as much as we enjoyed creating it.
